The Liefter-Fein Memorial Scholarship Fund Committee is pleased to announce that the deadline for the submission of applications for the academic year 2026-2027 has been extended to March 31, 2026.
The application form is available on the RCOS web site. Completed applications will need to be returned by March 31, 2026. Applications will be reviewed and interviews will be held between April and May, 2026. Scholarships will be announced June 1, 2026.
The Liefter-Fein Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1971 by Nathan and Allerta Fein and has been supplemented by a major donation from Joseph Liefter. The income from this fund is used to provide scholarships for higher education to children of members of our congregation in good standing. The awards are based on academic achievement, need, and character. The size of the scholarship(s) is dependent on the income from the fund.
