Our world has been turned upside-down.  The COVID pandemic has changed life as we know it.  Even as we move through the stages of re-opening, new cases are being reported and getting proper cleaning equipment and supplies remain a challenge.

The Ritual Committee and I have been discussing ways to structure Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur in ways that are safe and comfortable for everyone and provide the necessary opportunities for transitions and cleaning between events.  High Holidays this year will have to be different from past years, because of the requirements of social distancing and the concern for members of the congregation who are at higher risk.  We, also, believe that despite being “allowed” that there are members who will not be comfortable being with a larger crowd.

I am inviting you to join me for an informal conversation about the holidays and what is important and meaningful for you as individuals and families.  I have set up three options during the week of July 6 at different times, to allow you to join me for this important discussion.  Registration is limited to twenty computers for each session and time slots will be on a first come first served basis.
