Oneg Shabbat is a celebration with the RCOS family following most Friday night services.

To sponsor an Oneg, please call the Sisterhood Oneg Shabbat Coordinator. Please contact the office for her contact information. Onegs are held after Friday night services that start at 7:45 pm.

Sponsorship is for any occasion: a life cycle celebration, in memory of a loved one, or to honor someone special. Sometimes you might just want to sponsor an oneg for no particular reason!

To sponsor an Oneg, one must provide a challah, and any type of dessert you would like- cookies, cake, fruit, cheese, etc. On a typical Friday night there are 35 to 40 people in attendance. In the summer, there are usually 20 to 25 people.

This is a wonderful mitzvah for you and your RCOS family. We look forward to celebrating Oneg Shabbat with you soon!
